The Village Market has a strong community focus by giving local businesses the chance to showcase their products whilst fundraising for our school.
We have a reputation for being a fun day out for the whole family with children's craft and games alongside the hot and cold food, fresh produce, horticulture, wine and beer as well as a huge variety of craft and jewellery stalls with something to suit everyone's budget.
In 2015 we attracted over 1,600 visitors to the market, making it a really enjoyable and successful event for shoppers and stallholders alike. Once again we will ensure there is a wonderful variety of stallholders and products. Over the years we've seen such favourites such as giant paella pan caterers, a great BBQ, traditional sweets stall, fresh fruit and veg, plants, bread, jams, chutneys, and sausages to name but a few. You will also find deli produce, take away food, fabulous cakes, fudge, oils and marinades, soaps, handmade fabric gifts, vintage and retro furniture, a range of different arts, craft and jewellery stalls, handmade cards, ethnic clothing, and other traditional farmers market stalls from many of the surrounding towns and villages.
There will be local musicians and loads of children's entertainment too. So come and join us, take home something lovely to eat/drink or keep and have a great day out while raising money for the school. Most importantly come with plenty of time, money and shopping bags as you're sure to be tempted!
